01 Context

Party rentals are a phone-tag business: quotes by text, availability in someone’s head, deposits on trust. Desert Party Supplies runs it like modern e-commerce instead.

Who it's for

Las Vegas families and event hosts booking tables, chairs, canopies, and bounce houses — usually on a phone, usually at night.

02 The problem

“Every missed call is a missed booking. Rental businesses still run on phone tag.”

Customers plan parties after hours; the business could only answer during them. No live availability meant double-bookings, and no online checkout meant every single sale needed a conversation.

03 What I built

Real product engineering at small-business scale: a catalog, a booking engine, and the back-office automation that makes both stick.

01

Catalog with live availability

Every item photographed, priced, and checkable by date — the answer to “is it free that Saturday?” without a call.

02

Booking & payment flow

Date-based checkout with deposits handled online — a booking closes itself at 11pm.

03

Back-office automation

Confirmations, reminders, and delivery scheduling run themselves; the owner just loads the truck.

04 The approach

AI won't replace good creative. It lets good creative ship.

Small businesses rarely get real product engineering — the budgets don’t reach it. AI-accelerated building changes that math: a studio-grade booking flow, designed and shipped solo, priced like a website. That gap is exactly where I work.

01

Design for the customer’s hour

Mobile-first, late-night friendly, zero learning curve.

02

Build with AI in the loop

AI in the loop

A full booking engine in weeks, solo — instead of an agency quarter.

03

Automate the follow-through

Confirmations, reminders, routing — the unglamorous ops work is where the hours come back.

05 The outcome
24/7 Bookings taken — open or closed
Zero Phone calls required to book
Weeks From kickoff to taking payments

The site books while the owner sleeps and the calendar stays honest. For a local business, that’s not a website — that’s a second employee.
